What I ate: November 4, 2011

Breakfast: Blueberry muffin and bacon, both previously frozen.

Snack: A Spicy V-8.


Lunch: Zucchini and bacon stir-fry

Dinner: Braised short ribs and garlic mashed potatoes. The beauty of this meal is that I previously made and froze everything. The beef went into the sous vide for 45 minutes at 140°F. The mashed potatoes went into boiling water, then reduced to simmer, for 20 minutes. Since everything was cooked in a bag, the only cleanup was the plate... and that went into the dishwasher!

And 2 glasses of Finca Dan Cano malbec.

Dessert: 2 strips (6 squares) of Green & Black's hazelnut current dark chocolate.

Snack: 2.0 oz. Doritos. I should not have bought these.
