What I ate: January 1, 2020

Breakfast: Chorizo breakfast burrito with chorizo, onion, green pepper, jalapeño and egg. Reheat of the filling I cooked Sunday in a freshly heated whole wheat tortilla.


Snack: 1.0 oz. Sriracha chex mix and a spicy Blood Mary.



Tipped, tailed, and blanched some fresh green beans.


Lunch: BLT and Kettle Chips hot jalapeño potato chips.


Snack: 1.0 oz. potato chips and French onion dip.

Dinner: Prime rib and baked potato. I previously froze the prime rib and reheated it in the sous vide, 45 minutes at 124°F. That made medium-rare, though I might try 122°F next time.


Dessert: Bourbon and Danish butter cookies. I'm trying to finish off all of the almost empty bottles of liquor!


Weight at beginning of the day: 133.8 lbs.
Weight at the beginning of the next day: 134.8 lbs.

I replaced my scale on August 7, 2019. When comparing to dates before then, add 2.8 pounds to the old value to match
the current scale.
